I am NOT in favor of relaxing any of the present constraints on telemarketers. I find these calls during the day as well as in the evening an unwanted and unneeded annoyance. If I want to purchase some product from them I'll get in contact with them, I don't need them pestering me. I had three (3) phone calls from a company last week saying they were representing Verizon. Although I have no way to actually know if that were true, there is a lot of telephone number slamming still going on, I hope this is not a way for a company that you do business with to pass our phone numbers out to any direct marketing firm who wants or can pay for them.
