We consumers do not like receiving telemarketing calls, whether from a live person or a pre-recorded message. Period. They are a nuisance. Why would you even consider allowing pre-recorded messages? I thought one of your functions was to protect the consumer. Allowing this change would not be in the best interest of the consumer, only the corporations. Hmmm....maybe therein lies the answer to my question. Perhaps the FTC is in the pocket of the corporations.
