Allowing pre-recorded telemarketing for DO NOT CALL registered persons is a severe breach of trust. People signed onto the do not call list so that they WOULD NOT be called by TELEMARKETING. Suddenly allowing telemarketing of any form on the list provides a free nationwide list of telemarketing numbers. The FTC, FCC would be providing the telemarketers with the very information and associated rules that would allow unlimited pre-recorded telemarketing. People did not sign up on the list to provide Telemartekers with their personal information so that they could be called. The very proposal is a severe breach of trust. Please understand that people who sign onto the national DO NOT CALL list do not want to receive any telemarketing in any form.
