Do not allow telemarketers to use pre-recorded messages!! It seems that there is always someone questioning policies as being too harsh. They want to relax the requirements. This is just a method of relinguishing accountability and making their job easier, or in many cases eliminating their responsibilities. This is happening in the very root of our society, the family I see it everyday in our schools and read or hear about it in the news. It seems more and more people are adopting the philosophy, "if you can't meet the standards, lower them". DON'T DO IT!!! I joined the Do Not Call List to eliminate these unwanted interruptions. It has worked well. Allowing pre-recorded messages will make it cheaper, therefore easier, for these telemarketers to call. If it is more expensive, then they will be more selective and the volume will be reduced. Don't open the can of worms! Those businesses that I want to contact again, I will, at the time I want to do it. I can handle the responsibility; it's time for those who don't want to or think they can't, to get off their dead butts and do it. DON'T LET THIS PROGRAM BE ERODED by greed or the lack of accountability!!!!!!
