I wish to add my objection to allowing telemarketers to use pre recorded messages. I also do not like the idea that anyone you have done business with being exempt from the do not call list. I pay for my phone and I detest being bothered by someone who is trying to sell me something and even being bothered by charities. Let me decide on my own what I want to purchase or who I wish to donate to. I get calls everyday, even long past my bedtime. I work very early and thus must retire early. Some consideration must be given us early to bed folks. I try to screen my calls but it's not easy since most telemarketers do not identify themselves with a caller ID. Can't this be a requirement? Anything you can do to cut down on the calls I receive would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
