To Whom It May Concern; I am very disturbed to hear that your are considering changing the rules to allow automated calls to people who have signed on the no-call list. I personally do not want to be called by either a person, or an automated caller, whether I have done business or not. Case in point, for several months I have been getting an automated call from some business that hides it's number, so I have no way of shutting it off. I sometimes get five or six calls a day, each of which leaves a "buzz" on my answering machine. Unaccecptable. I see this as a violation of my privacy. I am fully capable of soliciting a business if I need products or services. We are inundated with advertising on television. Perhaps you remember the great lie regarding cable televison, whereby we were told that if we signed-up for cable television, we would get more channel with no commercials. What happened to that. Must we endure this on our telephone as well? I have little faith that the FTC is capable of regulating telemarketers in a way that is acceptable to me. The only thing that will satisfy me is receiving no unsolicited calls on my phone. Thanks. Regards, Mike Wadsworth
