As a consumer, I am against allowing for pre-recorded messages to be used by telemarketers. It has been wonderful not to have telemarketers disturbing me at all times of the day. I have been disturbed that some telemarketers have been using the ruse of conducting a survey as a means of doing telemarketing. I realize that telemarketers have a job to do, however, unsolicited calls are unwanted by consumers, especially this one. Please do not give companies a means to disturb consumers who are on the do not call registry list. DO NOT CALL should mean just that. Companies need to find other methods or soon telephone companies may not have to publish telephone directories because many consumers will go unlisted.
