Dear Sirs - Madams; It is the opinion of most people with whom I have spoken that we would prefer a more stringent interpretation and enforcement of the (DO NOT CALL) registry than a relaxation of the rules. I do not accept calls from computers except in very rare circumstances. If they are from a legitimate concern that I need to hear from, such as my kid’s school, or possibly a doctor’s appointment reminder. If they wish for me to hear the message, they must give the source of the call within the first five words, or I hang up. I have been very much happier since the registry went into effect. I would prefer that even businesses with which you do business be forbidden to call you unless it is a very legitimate reason, such as being passed due, not to try to sell you something. The rules should even be expanded to include fax machines. Respectfully, David Mitchell
