I am currently on the Do Not Call list. The number of calls I am receiving have been reduced. However, during the last election, I was inundated with pre-recorded messages. I couldn't wait for the election to be over. Pre-recorded messages keep calling if you do not answer the phone or hang up on the message. As a consumer, I can't ask any questions or tell them not to call me. Businesses have the right to talk with their customers. However, customers have the right to speak with a live person. Consumers should also have the right to choose when to talk to a business. As a business person, I don't call the people I do business with at home, and as a consumer, I don't expect to be called at home (especially by a machine).
