I am against ANY change in the rules that allows a company to call me, recorded call or otherwise. We signed up for Do Not Call Registry and that is exactly what we want, no calls. I am capable of finding the services and merchandise I wish to purchase without being hounded into hell with phonecalls. I was tired of answering the phone 20 times a day to sales calls that were unwelcome, unwanted and unnecessary. I make it a practice bot to do business with companies that solicit! I'd hate to have to remove my home phone and use nothing but my cellphone, but if that becomes what it takes to stop telemarketing calls then that is what we will do.
