What you you thinking? The right of a company to make a living does not supercede my right to privacy. If the FTC allows telemarketers to use prerecorded messages, then this is going to use up all the space on my answering machine and I will not be able to receive important calls from doctors, family or friends. If I want to do business with these people I will call them. Right now I am on the "Do not call list" and the calls I do get from companies or organizations I've done business with are still annoying. There are times that the same number(I have caller ID) will call my house 5 to 6 times a day and when I finally answer the call, the first thing I say is " What is so important that you have to call me so often". I don't like being rude to these people but it does get very frustrating. I urge you NOT to allow this to happen.
