Comments:
We find it absurd that telemarketers are able to circumvent the "Do not call" registry. The intended purpose of the registry, which took many years to become law, was to free consumers from the daily harassment initiated by telemarketing firms. By allowing these firms to ignore the registry, simply because someone has purchased something from them, is an absolute outrage. We urge the FTC to halt any actions toward watering down the Do Not Call Registry.
