I am totally opposed to relaxing this policy. It is not right to make it easier for unwanted solicitation through a service I am paying for. I spend the money for phone line each month to stay in touch with friends, relatives, and businesses that have a legitimate current relationship with me. I am not spending $75 a month to open up another channel for them to interrupt my personal life trying to sell something. It is especially offensive that this would allow them to have automated systems call me without even having to have a live person. This just makes it too easy for companies to constantly call pretty much every phone number out there without any negative feedback from the poor people being called.
