I would not like to have recorded messages left on my home phone. It is irritating when you have a family member who is in the late stages of bone cancer, a 1 year old granddaughter who experiences crisis due to sickle cell anemia, and a mother who is elderly, and you get home from work and have to wade through several phone messages, not knowing if one of them is related to one of these family members. I don't want my box filled with unsolicited garbage.
