“I am strongly opposed to any changes in Telemarketing rules that cause me to be interrupted in the privacy of my own home. My experience with pre-recorded messages is that they are a greater irritant than even having a living body to speak to since the callee can't refute or clarify in a pre-recorded message. If I am interested in a purchase of products or services, I will make the call myself. Irritation with pre-recorded messages will cause me to go to a guaranteed unlisted phone number that has this telephone spam screened out.”
