I am absolutely opposed to creating an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow prerecorded telemarketing messages. I also feel that the question of receiving telemarketing calls, live or prerecorded, should always be decided on the basis of opting-in to receiving such advertisements as opposed to opting-out. Either way, however, I am opposed to telemarketing calls, in any form and will do all that I can to ensure that I do not receive them.
