Against: I know of no existing business relationship of mine that involves the assumption that I am willing to listen to a pre-recorded message. The largest drawback of recieving these appart from the unwarrented interruption, is that there is no way to request to be put on a do-not-call list as no human interaction is involved. Perhaps if a precursor to the recorded message involved an interactive segment (Press 1 to listen, press 2 to listen later, press 3 to get on the do-not call list, max duration of this segment: 1minute, to avoid a long sales pitch for the sales pitch) might be acceptable to all, but I'd rather have the whole concept shelved.
