You are proposing to allow telemarketers to skirt the No Call List rules by using prerecorded calls. There is nothing on earth more irritating than having my telephone which I paid for constantly tied up with machines calling me for things I do not want or need sold by companies with whom I do not wish to do business. The fact that I may have once, years ago, bought gas or a cup of tea through that business does not give them perpetual rights to pursue me in my home. If people wanted to buy their garbage they would not have to use machines to invade our homes. I urge that telemarketers NOT be provided a loophole in the Do Not Call list. I do NOT want to go back to having my life interrupted 10 times a day by machines selling me garbage.
