The comment form has crafty wording. I translate the first sentence as "If a company has a business relationship with a consumer, then that company can authorize a third party company to contact the consumer on the company's behalf." In other words, "on whose behalf the calls are made," gave away the attempt to circumvent the current law. The phrase, "on whose behalf the calls are made," should have been separated by commas for easier reading. I will try as much as possible to help defeat this amemdment to the law Telemarketing Sales Rule. Thanks.
