I wish to see a stop placed on ALL telemarketing calls to consumers, whether the calls are "live" or pre-recorded. This includes calls to all consumers who have registered on the State and National Do-Not-Call lists (home phones AND cell phones). If the consumer wishes to receive calls, they can 'opt in'. Our politicians receive numerous gifts and 'favors' from the telemarketing lobbyists. Must I remind these politicians that it was the consumers' vote that got them the job! We can also vote you OUT! I want our politicians to say a final "NO !!" to the telemarketers!
