I placed my number on the Do Not Call list because I do not want telemarketers to call AT ALL. If they send pre-recorded messages that defeats the purpose of the Do Not Call List. The pre-recorded message would allow me to opt of of calls but that is what I intended to do by placing my number on the national list. I do not agree with this "loophole." If I wanted a product or service from this company I would know how to get it because I have a previous relationship with the company. I don't need a recorded phone call message to inform me of the company's products/services. Just because I have had a previous relationship with a company does not automatically mean that I wish to continue this relationship. My biggest fear is that the pre-recorded messages will have the opt out option at the very end of the long and exhausted message. If time does not permit me to sit through a long 5 - 10 minute recorded message I will be unable to simply say "no thanks" because I am forced to listen to the entire message just to ensure there will be no further phone calls. I would appreciate the national Do Not Call list as be exactly as it states; a list that telemarketers CANNOT call. Thank you!
