I strongly oppose any amendment to the Telemarket Sales Rule. I have always felt that calls from telemarketers are a violation of my privacy, especially since they seem to always happen at dinnertime, bedtime, or on a weekend. I have never been persuaded by a telemarketer to buy anything, nor will I ever buy anything from anyone who calls my home. Since I pay a bill every month for the "privilege" of having a phone, it should only be used for calls from people with whom I want to speak, not annoying, rude salespeople.
