Please DO NOT make the proposed changes. I personally have enjoyed NOT RECEIVING solicitation phone calls and would very much hate getting RECORDED messages; they are annoying and take up space on my answering system. Being on the 'do not call' list and not receiving annoying calls from solicitors has been wonderful. To me, if I receive a prerecorded call, even if from an entity that I have a relationship with, i.e., credit card company or bank, it will be considered an annoyance and AN INTRUSION. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE PROPOSED CHANGES. Since the implementation of the 'do not call list' the few calls I have received have been more aggressive and some actually rude. If you open up an avenue for solicitation, I fear the aggession will be greater.
