The "do not call" list guidlines should become more rigid over time instead of more liberal. My number has been on the do- not-call list since the inception and I still get 3-5 messages a day on the answering machine. Thanks to Caller ID, I am able to screen several additional calls coming from solicitors each day. I consider the constant telephone ringing as an interruption and an invasion of my privacy. Please do not allow more people to call my home. Businesses would find a much more receptive audience through other avenues. The amount of revenue generated through telemarketing must be minimal when calculated on a per call-placed basis.
