I am opposed to the proposed change. I don't want to receive prerecorded telemarketing calls from any business. If I've done business with a company and I want to contact them, I will initiate the call. The provision requires that the telemarketer provide the consumer with a method of removing their name from the company's call list. One method is by having the consumer call a toll free number. That would require the consumer to take the time to call the number and undoubtedly wait on hold for a lengthy period of time for the "next available representitive." Telemarketers are already using dubious methods of claiming a "business relationship" with consumers. They don't need another loophole.
