As a person with a severe disability, the Do Not Call list has saved me several "trips" to the ringing telephone. I have to say that if these companies are allowed to invade again, there will be no option but to disconnet my home phone. It is so unnecessary to allow these people and companies into my life and home via MY telephone. Let them send letters, at least it is economical and allows the family to reject or answer the inquiry. Even one call per day can be hamful to me as I ambulate very little, and rush to answer phones. As the baby boomers sweep the nation as the NEW aged seniors, the in home safety has to become a priority for communications companies. Is it more important to respect the privacy, the safety and the users right to own a phone for outgoing calls. Please do not give authority to companies to nag and bother us again. It has been a wonderful change to not be bothered by solicitors and others using my phone. Thank you for taking this email and for listening. Marcia Stephens Phoenix, AZ
