Please do not allow this change to happen. The "Do-Not-Call" list should be exactly that. This is what it was created for. I do NOT want unsolicited calls made to an instrument that I pay for. The solicitor has no right whatsoever to intrude on my time, unless I specifically request them to. Furthermore, these pre-recorded messages are the most annoying item since email spam. There might be an opt-out feature, but I would guess that you would have to listen to the entire speil before being allowed to make the choice. I repeat, do NOT encourage these rude and intrusive calls.
