Comments:
I am in favor of doing whatever is necessary to increase my personal privacy and prevent sales people, marketers, and other such solicitors from contacting me via any means -- direct mail, email, and telephone -- without my specific and personal direct request and consent. Of particular annoyance are telemarketers, and I am in favor of doing whatever is necessary to further prevent them from calling me at home, at work, or via mobile devices. The telemarketing industry has become extremely intrusive and continues to find ways around the laws that have been designed to keep these sales people out of my home, where I do not invite them. It is shameful and time that it stops immediately. Thank you for providing me the avenue to comment. However, unless you can translate my comment into changes that benefit me and people who share my opinion, we will continue to be no better off. Anthony Bari
