|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I can't believe the FTC would consider loosening restrictions on telemarketing calls. One of the few things, possibly the only thing, Americans can all agree on is that they don't want those anoying calls. The job of the FTC is to serve the public interest. Telemarketing calls, recorded or otherwise, do not serve the public interest. They waste our time, distract us from our work and families, wake us from our slumber and generally make us mad as #@+!!. Don't you dare make it easier for those scum bags to harass us.
