Comments:
As a personal citizen and as a dispatcher for the above named agency I oppose the loosening of restrictions on unsolicited telemarketer calls to individuals or businesses. I frequently receive solicitation calls even on our 911 lines (which can be accessed by an unpublished 10 digit number) and I have no faith in the ability of the industry to regulate itself. I would prefer to see the industry prohibited from any calls except for specific follow up to requests for contact or to numbers on a national "Please Call Me, Call Me" registry.
