Comments:
Do not pass the above amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule for a safe harbor. We don't want to be bothered by live people, and we certainly don't want to hear recorded messages. This includes our home phone, business phone and cell phone. Telemarketers are waisting our time and money with messages for offers we do not want, can not use, and often are scams. Companies should use regular marketing where we initiate contact if we are interested. It should be our choice to make the contact, not theirs to harrass us. Whether it is a live person or a pre-recorded message, it is an unwelcome intrusion. I urge you to vote No on this amendment. Thank you
