Comments:
Do not allow telemarketers the ability to violate the spirit of the 'national do not call' list by allowing them to leave recorded messages on phones. It is part of the Bill of Rights that I can enjoy my right to privacy and I do not want someone violating my answering machine with unsolicited airtime and spam. Telemarketing is a technology that needs replacement by a different mechanism as it seems to bother millions and millions of people who have signed the above mentioned 'do not call' list. Let the will of the people prevail here, not the self-serving desires of the direct marketing lobby.
