I do not want SPAM messages placed on my home telephone answering machine or my business telephone answering machine (voice mail). Messages that are not business related or personally from friends, coworkers, neighbors and relatives are NOT wanted and mere take up space on the machines. I would then have to listen to each one to determine if they are important or not and this waste my time which I do not choose to spend because someone, without my permission, decides to send me a message about a subject I am not interested in. IF I am interested in particular item or obtaining information about a particular subject then I will take the necessary action to do so but I do not want strangers contacting me trying to sell me something I have no interest in. I would like to know the difference between leaving message on my answering machines and telemarketing calls. I am registered on the DO NOT CALL listing and do NOT want such calls. If I answer the call my machine does not record the call therefore I am still getting telemarketing calls which do not want. They leave such messages but do not provide you with the phone number where you can complain or the number they leave is not valid. This is WRONG. This is no different than the dreaded telemarketing scams. PLEASE DO NOT APPROVE THEIR REQUEST TO BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE SPAM MESSAGES ON INDIVIDUAL AND BUSINESS VOICE MAIL AND TELEPHONE ANSWERING MACHINES. IF YOU WANT THOSE CALLS TELL THEM TO CALL YOUR HOMES, OFFICES, AND BUSINESSES BUT I DO NOT WANT THEM CALLING ME REGARDLESS OF THE REASON. Thank You for listening to my viewpoint.
