I am a consumer and very opposed to this proposed ruling. Despite being registered on the do not call list, I still receive telemarketing calls. I also receive unsolicited fax calls to my voice messaging system on my home phone at least twice a week. If you pass this legislation, I will receive more unwanted, unsolicited, intrusive calls. Businesses should find other avenues to solicit business besides leaving me unsolicited pre-recorded messages.
