Comments:
A pre-recorded message on a telephone is as bad as the continual unsolicited telepone calls from brokers, mortage brokers, etc. etc. While the message is being played you cannot use your telephone until the message has concluded. Some are longer than a minute or two. Even tho we are on the Do Not Call List we still receive up to 3 or 4 unsolicited calls a week. If recorded messages are allowed you defeat the purpose of the Do Not Call List. You have to listen to it before you can erase it; it can overflow your message service thereby missing important messages from family, friends or business calls; or prevent you from making a business call or emergency call until their recorded message is finished. Don't cave in to this lobby effort. A Do Not Call List should include Do Not Leave Unsolicited Messages either.
