I am strongly opposed to any rule that would allow telemarketers to call me under any circumstances (irregardless if it's pre-recorded or if I have done business with that company). The do not call registry is the best thing that ever happened to consumers; please do not allow our peace and quiet to again be shattered by greedy and rude telemarketers. It is my understanding that the public response to the registry has been overwhelming, that should send a strong message that the general public does not want to be called. Only a small majority of money hungry telemarketers want any relaxation of the law....you should respond to the will of the many and not to the greed of the few. I think telemarketing companies should be outlawed, that way we wouldn't have to deal with them trying to weaken the law. Please do not change the law to make it weaker, in fact, make it stricter !!! Thank you.
