I am outraged that the FTC would even consider letting any telemarketing companies spam in any form, whether thru voicemail pre-recorded messages or other ways. As an individual consumer, I have added every number I have to the 'do not call list'. That was one of the most popular pieces of legislation written in years. I, and millions like me, don't want ANY calls or ANY pre-recorded messages. We want our decision to registar numbers on the 'do not call list' to be honored and respected. If your commission even considers this, it's an insult to all the American consumers who have placed their numbers on that list. I believe that you will feel the complete wrath of the American public if you allow this outrageous proposal. It's just another powerful lobbyist group, who doesn't care about what the American families want, trying to control our federal government.
