Common sense should tell you that allowing this measure is an invasion of personal finances and privacy. I pay for the line that allows incoming telephone calls, therefore, I should be allowed to decide if I want a barage of junk advertising. This same ideal also covers cell phones, junk faxes, and SPAM, whereas, postal advertising, as long as the postage is fully paid by the sender, does not need restricting. When I pay for usage, ANY advertising is too much. Advertising of this nature should be a manual 'opt-in' option only. 'Opt-in' by any other means just opens the door for misconduct. Vote 'NO' on this proposal.
