I would like to register my opposition to allowing "pre-recorded message telemarketing" to our homes. Even more irritating than answering a phone call from a live telemarketing person is being interrupted in your own home by a telephone recording, or, worst of all, dropping what you are doing, running to answer the phone, and finding you weren't the first caller to answer so you get a blank. If we take the time to register on the Do Not Call Registry, we should not be subjected to harrassment by telemarketers in any form. And harrassment is exactly what it is if we have indicated that we do not wish to receive telemarketing calls. Please do not allow any further loopholes to this law. Receiving calls from charitable organizations is bad enough already. Thank you very much for listening. Susan Roethke
