I do not EVER want to be contacted by a business (established relationship or not) unless I have initiated the contact or there is a problem with my account. -I- pay for my phone service - not businesses. If they want to advertise on the phone, let them pay for or subsidize the service. I no longer even maintain a landline phone because the number of solicitations made it unuseable. Allowing a prerecorded message just makes their telephone spam more affordable because they don't have to pay operators. Please do NOT make an amendment to the Telemarketing Sales Rules to allow this! The only telemarketing that should be legal is that on an opt-in basis!
