Please DO NOT permit spamming of voice mail, whether there supposedly is a previous business relationship or not. This completely undermines the letter and spirit of the Do Not Call Registry by allowing back door spamming of voice mail. It is a violation of the right to privacy and continues the nuisance of unsolicited advertising abuses which caused the creation of the Do Not Call Registry in the first place! In addition, please deny the Direct Marketing Association petition to loosen restrictions on "abandonment of calls" provisions. Our private homes must be protected from aggressive and abusive market practices that victimize the unwary.
