When signing up for the "do not call", I had hoped this would end the unwanted calls. Thoses directly or on the anawering machine. I see NO reason why I should be bothered with messages not wanted from a company. Some of these messages go on forever and take space needed for calls from friends etc. I am fully against any reform of the "do not call list". They can almost be concidered an invasion of my privacy. It appears you are bending over backwards to please these companies.
