The do not call list was established because of the insistance of millions of Americans to be free from commercial harrassment within th privacy of their homes. Any person on the list can opt out for any or all solicitations. This is sufficient for any company to contact potential customers who are actually interested in hearing their offers. Any loosening of the restrictions will be against the mandate of the vast majority of the people on the list and will only create more problems than the supposed benefits to a very few corporations.
