It would not be a favor to the consumer to allow pre-recorded messages. These messages just fill up answering machines and prevent important messages, such as getting lab results from your doctor, from reaching you. Because the cost of delivering recorded messages is much less than having a live person place the call, we can expect the volume of calls to increase, defeating the original purpose of the Do-Not-Call list. Please keep the current rules in force. - Thank You
