I am against changing the "Do Not Call" Rules in any way that would allow more telemarketing calls than there already is allowed. The DMA's proposals are unacceptable. They represent an industry who's primary purpose seems to be to creat annoyances to persons. My phone is something I pay for, and unless I have a way of blocking calls that these folks make reliably, they are using MY property for free and at the cost of inconvenience to me. Since I cannot charge them for that use and inconvenience, the only other way to prevent them from using my phone is to block them via the DNC list. Hooray for the Do Not Call Rules, as they are. It is one of the greatest things the federal government has successfuly done that truly benefits society in the last few years. Keep up the good work and don't let the speical interests prevail.
