America is still a Capitalist economy. Products and services have to be sold, they dont't just happen. The "Do Not Call" legislation caused tremendous loss and pain to those workers who's skill levels limit them to most other employment opportunities. America's selfish, comfort obessive consumer who whines about being disturbed with unsolicited marketing calls, must have convinced those few at the FTC, that were unconscious to the harsh real world realities of a non-college grad work world, that to "JUST HANG UP THE PHONE" is how you can deal with marketers. We receive many solicitation calls at our residence and we screen the calls before answering or responding, but we DO respect those companies and individuals right to contact us!
