I oppose any changes to the current regulations. The use of telephones for solicitation is an unwarrented intrusion into the privacy of my home. There are ample opportunities for commercial solicitation via USPS, newspapers, TV and radio. No one has, or needs, the right to call me to sell their products. The State of Connecticut passed legislation to this effect several years prior to the FCC ruling on this, and it has been a greatly appreciated relief from the constant annoyance of these calls. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this matter.
