I vigorously oppose this. Like the vast majority of the public, I find any kind of telemarketing to be obtrusive and obnoxious. I don't want these type of calls to be left on my voice mail or answering machine. How many times and in how many ways must we say we don't want to receive any type of pitches at home? Since the number of persons who actually WANT to receive such calls is pitifully low, let the telemarketers work for a list of people who want these type of intrusions and leave the rest of us ALONE.
