I just heard on the news the FTC is considering relaxing the rules for telemaketers to call one's home with a pre-recordeed message, and I am truly atonished to hear you are even considering this. This tells me you either were not serious about the decision of prohibiting telemarketers to call anyone on the "do nto call list" or you are in the side of the people bihind of all these telemaketing scams. You do not know the amount of nuisance calls I used to get before I placed my name on the "Do not call" list, and how peaceful my house has been ever since this annoyance stopped. I was as if a curse had suddenly been lefted when the plague of telemarketers stopped calling. I would most appreaciate it if you seriously reconsider this desicion, which to many is not only an annoyance, (which most of us-consumers abhor) but also a way for telemarketers to prey on the elderly, and anyone who would fall for their deceitful practices.
