I STRONGLY OPPOSE granting telemarketers of any kind any further rights or abilities call, annoy or harass myself or anyone else. The Do Not Call list has finally afforded some relief from these almost constant annoyance calls. Easing these regulations would be a slap in the face to the many people who have signed up for this relief from these annoyances. The fact that i might have had some past business relationship with a company should not allow them any right to harass, annoy or call me once that relationship has ended. I pay for a telephone for my own convenience - not for an advertising tool for someone else. Telemarketers should also be aware that once they have annoyed me, I will never deal with them. Again, please do not ease the regulations on telemarketers. Keep them off my telephone. I find their calls, whether by person or machine, rude, annoying and bothersome. In fact, I think machine generated calls are a worse insult than "live" calls. At least I can tell a person on the other end how I feel about this intrusion of my peace and privacy before I hang up on them. Thank you
